Here’s to you Mrs Robinson! The home of Albany war widow Mrs Shirley Robinson was a hive of activity on Tuesday 31 March 2015, as more than 20 community volunteers and professional painters with brushes, rollers and spray guns gave the family home of 56 years a fresh coat of paint and general tidy up.
A 76 year old mother of four and grandmother of eight, Mrs Robinson was an active member and long-time supporter of the local Scouts group and was awarded and Order of Australia medal for her work in 1999. Mrs Robinson’s late husband, Donald had served in Borneo during World War II.
