Ms Kathleen Gloyn ‘just couldn’t believe it’ when she was selected as the 23rd recipient of our national Berger Paint for a Mate campaign.
The heat was on in Whyalla with Inspirations Paint store manager Neil Schmidt and local volunteers repainting the exterior of Ms Gloyn’s home in over 30° temperatures, needless to say she ‘really appreciated it, especially as they have given their time voluntarily’.
It was Berger’s Adam Grimm's first repaint as part of the Berger Paint for a Mate campaign. ‘We look after those who can't necessarily do things themselves,’ he said ‘It definitely feels good.’
Ms Gloyn has celebrated many family occasions in her family home over the past 45 years. Her six children, 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, are sure to enjoy many more occasions in her freshly painted home.
