It is absolutely vital that the surface you’re about to paint has been carefully prepared prior to application.

IMPORTANT

Surface preparation is completed differently depending on two factors:

• Whether the surface is bare or new concrete or has been previously painted / coated.
• Whether the Jet Dry product you choose to paint with is waterbased or solvent based.

If you are painting with a water based Jet Dry AquaTread product you may need to use AquaTread Undercoat as the first coat. If you are painting with a traditional solvent based Jet Dry product you may need to etch your concrete surface with hydrochloric acid and a scrubbing brush.
